DD & Baby E have come to stay ...so I just have to take a Breather and Relax a little to Accomodate All the Extras that come with them....so far we are Managing...lol...

Adoption Update

Thought I'd share a little update on where things stand with our adoption. We are still waiting on our I800A approval from our government. This is our final hoop to jump through as far as paperwork goes. We have been fingerprinted and the necessary paperwork for this application is on file waiting to be processed. We could actually hear any time now, but probably won't hear for another week or two. As soon as that approval is in hand, we send it for certification and authentication in Chicago before sending the entire dossier to our agency. After they recheck everything, it goes to China to be approved. I can't even begin to say how glad I'll be when that is out of my hands!


The next piece of news is on the referral front. We received a call this week from our agency about a possible referral. We won't have any real information for at least a couple of weeks, but it sounds like one may be coming down the pike. Unfortunately we have absolutely no information to share now. But please pray for us as we wait-not so patiently!-to see what will unfold...And check back from time to time.

Chest Tattoos

Much like back tattoos, its relatively common to see tattoos on the chest as well, some of which are small tattoo designs but more commonly you will see a large piece of tattoo artwork or numerous collaborated tattoo designs on a chest.

It's all over for another Year.!

The last of my Birthday Fat 1/4 swap Parcels...ThankYou Abbe & Deb...Deb made me this Lovely Lavender Embroidered Cushion...it smells Divine in my Sewing Room now..
Things have settled down from our Accident last week..Whew!...Back on board at my old Job so it's just a matter of Shifts coming in...have spent some time this afternoon sewing the Vine & Leaves on the B & W quilt...am Pleased with the Progress so far...won't be long till I can Quilt it...Have decided to re-join Gold Coast Quilters...they are having Sue Spargo for 2 days in August so I am hoping to get into that....Lorraine Moran is the New Workshop Convenor now that she has moved back to the Gold Coast so we should be getting some Top Notch Tutors in...which I am Pleased about....they have Good Bus Trips too....they meet once a month but if you can't get to their Group Day you can still Participate so that is easier for me....
Well I'm in for a Quiet Weekend...so Far..lol..you just never know now with DD & baby E...

Back Tattoos

The back is an excellent location to get a tattoo, and seeing how it's the largest piece of real estate on the human body, many people choose to get very extensive tattoos on the back.

Many celebrities have tattoo designs on their back, checkout LeBron James who has the phrase "Chosen 1" on his back, rock star Tommy Lee has a tremendous amount of tribal artwork on his back, Jesse James has a 100 dollar bill with flames and David Beckham has several tattoos on his back including a crucifixion scene with the names of his 3 sons.

Tattoos have officially taken the world by storm with countless famous celebrities now sporting them, including actors and actresses, singers and musicians and sports stars of all kind.

And it now seems that tattoos have found their way into the modeling industry where some of the worlds most beautiful women have elaborate tattoo designs gracing their sleek bodies.

A few models who have been spotted with tattoos include, Ana Beatriz Barros who has a small heart with angel wings on her lower back, Kylie Bax has a name under her left breast, Selita Ebanks has a pair of angel wings on the back of her neck, and Naomi Campbell has been seen with a flowery armband tattoo.


There are numerous other beautiful fashion models who also have tattoos including, Elisabetta Canalis who has a handful of tattoos one of which is an armband of roses, Gisele Bündchen has a small star tattoo on her wrist and a crescent moon on her ankle, Alessandra Ambrosio a small cat resting on crescent moon located on her lower back, and Rachel Hunter has a circular tattoo on her back among other designs elsewhere.

Playset

Oh, the things a parent will do for a child...admittedly a very cute child, but still. We spent our Saturday dragging home a play set for Maimie and the new little one. It was gigantic! Dad brought his trailer to transport it home for us. We worked for quite some time trying to figure out how to get the fort apart or onto the trailer. Neither was working.


Finally we got in on the trailer and took only backroads home. Fortunately the fort didn't fall off, and we managed to skirt the long arm of the law. On arriving home, we didn't know how to get it to the backyard. That thing is ridiculously heavy. Eventually we rammed the car and trailer up over the curb and into a neighbor's yard in the back.


A section of the back fence was removed, and neighbors came to help. Once we tipped the fort off of the trailer, a big ladder slid underneath helped move it into place.


Next we needed to put together the cross bar and reinforce the top part of the fort. By Sunday evening we had two swings and a teeter-totter in place. We still need to reinforce the fort and ladder a bit and put up the slide.


But I'd say that it was all worthwhile from the look on this little face.

I have Experienced my Very First.....

Car Accident last Saturday returning from Brissy to the Gold Coast....a Young Man apparently not paying attention Rammed up the back of us at 80kph plus.....

it doesn't look much but unfortunately we had Financed this car for DD and was due to have repairs done today...now it looks like it will be written off...Lucky I was the only one that came away with a few pains and some bruising...but I'm Fine now...Baby Ella was in her capsule and she is Fine...
I Celebrated my Birthday yesterday...I was taken out for Morning Tea by my Good Friend Jeni just down to a local Cafe'...Jeni gave me a Gorgeous Box of Goodies including 2 Beautiful Ceramic Owls..I just Love them...DD gave me Flowers this Morning from Ella....DS is giving me a Voucher for a Pedicure...I have recieved 3 Fat 1/4 Birthday Swap Parcels so far...Thankyou to Peg.Teresa & Sylvia (no blog)....Especially Impressed with the Beautiful Hand Made Card by Sylvia...Origami in Fabric...

I spent the afternoon working on the B & W Quilt...into the Applique now...coming along Nicely.
