While Karina Bradley will always remain The Prophet Blog’s original Queen of Trash, she now has some stiff competition from French dance diva Ysa Ferrer.
The 38-year-old has actually been around since the mid-nineties, but I only discovered her holiness last month when my friend Mike from Pop Trash Addicts came over introduced me to Ysa while we were smoking weed and eating Doritos at my place on a Saturday night.
Ysa has received a resurgence in popularity across Europe over the past few months thanks to her stunning hit “French Kiss”. The flawless electro anthem was produced by Chew Fu (the genius behind Rihanna’s divine Rated R: Remixed), and the only thing I can say that I don’t like about it is that my idol Heidi Montag didn’t record it first!
The video is also a thing of absolute beauty. I’m surprised that Miss Ferrer isn’t a fashion icon across Europe, as at one point during the video she rocks a wig so huge that it makes Kim Zolciak’s look like a crew cut by comparison. The choreography also has to be seen to believed — it really makes you feel like you’re sitting front row at the Monster Ball tour watching an exhausted Lady GaGa lethargically move around on stage trying to ‘dance’ like she’s the white Janet Jackson. Plus, her backup dancers look like two gay leftover rejects from Rihanna’s Rated R era.
Ysa’s hits don’t just end at “French Kiss” though: Her follow-up smash “Hands Up” is almost as good, and even features a non-existent feature from Perez Hilton. The “Hands Up” music video is also worth mentioning as it’s very Beyonce-esque in style, containing repeated pussy popping and a hairdo that looks like Bey’s natural locks without one of her Dereon dime store weaves to hide it beneath.
Ysa Ferrer… My new Queen…
