I am Lucky enough now to have some good shops nearby including IKEA...I love their Fabrics & can't complain about the price either...this is a Contempary b & w for the back of the Wedding Quilt...

I also found a Great Newsagency that stocks heaps of my kinda mags...saw this one popping up on blogs recently and couldn't resist the quirkyness as I flicked through & some Great Projects...

A great spread on Sue Spargo...oh did I Mention that I am 99% sure that I got into her Workshop in August with Gold Coast Quilters...Lorraine Moran..yes the one..is the new Workshop Convenor ..it's worth me re-joining don't you think...I bet she will get some Great Tutors...when I Usually go to the Sydney Quilt Show I always buy a bundle of hand dyed Wool from Anni Downs...she has the most Gorgeous Colours...might just have to give her a call and stock up for Sue's workshop....

Not so patiently waiting....

I'm going crazy here waiting. The final documents should be returned next Tuesday, and I'm going to try like everything to complete our dossier that day and overnight it on to our agency. If the dossier gets to our agency by noon Wednesday and everything is correct, it will be delivered Friday. Otherwise, we wait an extra week until the following Friday.

While the possible referral was taken away from us, the official file was not. This particular little one should be available to us around the 19th of this month (which falls on a Saturday-ugghh!). At that point we could lock her file and send the paperwork necessary. We still can't announce anything until we get word back from China, but at least we will have some confirmation that she's our daughter. I can't wait to share all of the photos!
So, I've been doing what I always do when I'm stuck waiting. I clean like a maniac (nesting?). Monday the room above the garage got the cleaning of its life. Tuesday--brace yourself--I knocked out our walk-in closet. It was hideous! It included going through all of the tupperware bins of clothes, etc. Wednesday we cleaned all three bathrooms and I did about 9 loads of laundry. Now if I can just work myself up to starting the remodeling in the old playroom/new bedroom for the boys. After that it will be on to the boys' old bedroom/ little girls' new room, and I'll probably finish up in Mikaela's room (all to herself again).

I also managed to sew some little curtains for Maimie's playhouse. I found some pink Disney princess material that I knew she'd love and stitched it up. I think she'll really get into playing more once she has a little partner in crime.

more Mail..new Project & a Visitor

An unexpected visit from Miss.E yesterday as DD was unwell with the Flu...poor little mite is starting to show signs of Teething..I Know Already!...so we had a very unsettled evening till 10:30pm..then the sweetie slept till 6am...ahhh..now she has returned home to Mumma..

First block in 'Playing with Angels'...ready to press & stitch...this doesn't have to be ready till march next year for Miss.E's 1st Birthday..

A is for Alligator and BirdTalk......

They are so cute...seeing that I am not going to the Sydney Quilt Show next week I have been scouring sites and have done a little retail therapy...lol.still cheaper than going to the show...these will be put into my stash for when the next little mite will be joining our family...DS I Hope. For some that have asked about the BrisStyle Markets last Saturday...Unfortunately I got called in to do a shift...I found out it is a 47klm trip one way for me so I would rather have the whole day to ponder and not to rush home to go to work....maybe next time..

DD & I will be driving into Brisbane on the 25th to the Textile Show ...so hope that is worth the trip.....the weekend is nearly upon us again...not sure what the plans are here..maybe markets sunday morning....depends on the weather...I am really noticing the cooler weather at the moment...this time last year we were in Hervey Bay..just a tad warmer....4.5hrs north makes a difference.....
